I think that I am going to write about my sister. the story will be about Lucy being baptized, and Camille's happiest day of her life, Lucy being born. But when people tell her that Lucy is growing up, Camille is so excited! They will share rooms together, and play together, and be best friends! But than Camille starts noticing that Lucy is growing up, and she is really sad. she will never crawl again like she used to, or she will never forget her first steps. but she does not want Lucy to grow up. And they don't ever want to be like her brothers...they fight a lot.
~Camille
You certainly have a strong relationship with your sister. Keep thinking of ideas! Ms. Schwieters
Thanks! : )

*when we were doing our scenes today, you told me to kinda change the story. So I'm going to re-tell my summary, OK?...*
Madison, who just tuned 8, tried out for a Dance line. When she found out that she made it, she didn't really know what they were like, or what you did at competitions. So when she goes to her 1st competition, all of her family is there. So Madison LOVED the attention she got, from her family cheering her on. So on the 2nd Competition, only her mom shows up to cheer for her, and she was kind of upset. Madison thought that competitions were all about cheering, and the attention (But their not). She was upset, because she was expecting more attention. So, a couple years later, when her little sister, Claire signs up for dance, she gets more attention than Madison does, when she Dances at her competitions. Now before Madison tried out for a competition Dance line, she would only perform her dances once a year. But for Competitions, you perform all of your Dances like, 10 different times, so it was a big leap for Madison. Madison gets very frustrated when her sister gets more attention than Madison does, when she performs. (Also, her family is trying really hard to spend a lot of time with Madison's Grandpa, in the hospital, with Lung Cancer.)
-i feel like I'm keeping the problem throughout the WHOLE story... do you?
-Madison fixes it, a couple years later, when Madison and Claire are both on Dance lines, and Performed their sister duet. "wow Madison! You did a very nice job up their with your sister!" says her family...

i wish that there were books about:
-Bullying-and how they stand up
-sisters-if they like each other, or fight
-people who are dealing with family that has cancer
-girls who think that there is something wrong with them, even though everyone says theres nothing wrong with them.
-people who don't have any friends
-girls' friends who are friends with bullies (for example if you didn't get that) Amanda is Camille's friend and Amanda is friends with Camille's bully
-people who don't make plays
-families who don't have a job-more likely dad's-can't afford many things
I can see you are putting your experiences in these ideas. Writing about what you know and feel will make your story better.- Ms. Schwieters Thanks (Again!)
5-6-10
for example:
In Me and sailu's partner book, we read the book 'best friends and drama queens'. And it was about Allie, the main character, dealing with bullies. (who was a HUGE drama queen!) And Allie was trying to fit in, and be with the popular girls. But Chyenne (The bully) did some strange stuff. And so Allie was being left out, just because she wasn't with the popular girls. But of course, she would NEVER want to do that kind of stuff. And when Allie told the teacher, Allie was being left out even more! just because she was trying to stand up to Chyenne.
I am connecting to this, and I feel that maybe the author DID have this happen to her in 4th grade. MAYBE it was a RF book. (IDK, it might have been fiction)
P.S. did i spell Chyenne right?...it keeps telling me that i spelled it wrong.
~Camille
Try to think of your own examples. Make sure to get your own twist in the ideas. -Ms. Schwieters
Gracias!-what do you mean by, 'your own twists' in the idea?...

I'm going to see how much I can write about my grandpa having cancer.
-Well, I remember him telling my mom on April fools day, and I thought it was just a joke. But my grandpa jokes a lot, so I got kind of scared. Because my grandma, (His wife) died 6 months after she found out that she had cancer. so I thought that my grandpa was going to die before my 11th birthday! I also remember my mom telling me that my grandpa was taking chemotherapy, and he was bald. I got SOOOO scared because I didn't want my grandpa to die. I haven't seen him in awhile, but I hope he's alright.
I am going to write as much as I can about my dad not having a job.
-I have wanted a dog for... 5 years. My parents keep telling me the same thing... "No, honey. not until your dad finds out about his job."
~Camille
Good start. Try listing feelings about not getting your dog, feeling sad about your dad not having a job. There is more going on and you can write about all of it.-Ms. Schwieters
